Offense is measured by the sum of Total Bases + Walks + HBP + Steals.
Scoring
Each week, teams earn points in pitching and offense: 1st place gets 10 points, 2nd gets 8, and 3rd gets 4.
Partial weeks at the beginning of the year, the all-star break, and the end of the year all get the same points awarded as full weeks.
If a pitcher gets on base, that counts as offense.
If a hitter gets pitching outs, those count.
Ties
All teams tied for a position get all the points for that spot as if there were no tie.
No points are awarded for second place if two teams tie for first place.
No points are awarded for third place if two or more teams tie for second place.
If there is a three-way tie for first place, all three teams get first place points, and there are no other points awarded.
If there is a six-way tie for third, all six teams get third place points.
If only one team records any offense/pitching in a week, they get 10 points. Nobody else gets any points. No points are awarded for second or third place if everyone ties at zero.
Rosters
Only players on the Phillies 40-man roster can be on teams.
If a player on your team gets traded away from the Phillies, retires, dies, gets picked up by another team on waivers, or leaves the organization for any reason, you have an empty roster spot to fill.
There is specifically no remedy for suspensions or injuries. Those do not create empty roster spots.
You do not have to fill empty roster spots immediately, or ever.
Only major league production counts.
If you have a player that gets sent down or called up, you do not have to do anything.
If you want all pitchers, all hitters, or any mix of hitters and pitchers, that is fine.
Roster moves
After you submit a roster move, it is pending, and you can see it from your team page.
You can never have more than one pending roster move.
If you change your mind and want to make a different roster move, you can submit another one. The previous roster move will be superseded by the new move.
If you change your mind and want to make no roster move, you can delete your pending roster move.
You can change your mind a maximum of 50 times per week. After that, you can choose to delete your pending roster move, but you can't create another one.
Even if you have more than one open roster spot, you only get one roster move per week.
Roster moves happen Sunday night after points are awarded.
Your roster move includes the name of the player you want to drop and a prioritized list of up to 3 players to add.
Only available players can be selected for adding to rosters.
Teams with empty roster spots go first in the roster move process. If more than one team has an empty roster spot, the lower-ranking teams go first.
Aside from teams with empty roster spots, roster move attempts are processed in reverse order of the current league standings.
In the case of ties in the league standings, roster moves will happen in the order they were submitted.
If the first player you attempt to add is not available when it comes to your turn in the roster moves process, you automatically attempt to add your second choice. If that player isn't available either, you automatically attempt to add your third choice.
If none of your three choices are available, you do not lose the player you tried to drop.
When the Phillies add a player, they become available for roster moves immediately.
Even if you have an empty roster spot, you can choose to make a roster move by dropping a player.
There is no trading players between teams.
Auction
We all start the auction with $100.
We will fill all 4 roster spots on each team during the auction.
We nominate players to be auctioned in a random order that's set when the auction starts.
When we nominate a player, we automatically start by bidding $1 for that player.
The website makes us save enough money to fill all our roster spots. That's why the maximum bid is $97. We have to save $1 for each of the 3 other roster spots.
There's no benefit to finishing the auction with money left over.
We will have exactly 32 player auctions per league.
We only own players for the 2026 season.
It's okay to be late to the auction. You can join, nominate, and bid like everyone else.
It's okay to leave the auction while it's happening. Your team will include any players you won and empty roster spots if you didn't fill them.
